A long time ago, When Wee was tall and Dave had hair, you knew a movie must be a quality franchise if it became a three-shot series. Only the best movies made it to a trilogy. Before streaming services made their own movie chains that continue regardless of ratings and reviews actors who had a trilogy under their belt seemed to be the actors to be taken seriously. Can you think of a few? Get the popcorn ready and buy some overpriced ice creams as we take another journey down the yellow brick road (oops, wrong movie)...

And the coolest way to get there was via the space shuttle. That winged vehicle that looked more like a plane than a rocket ship. All a kid wanted to do was have the characters pick up where the movie left off and the only limit was our imagination.
